About the role
Make important product journeys easier to understand and complete.
What you’ll do
- Review onboarding and daily-use flows, identify friction and design responsive screens and interaction states.
- Provide implementation-ready handoffs.
What we need to see
- Figma, visual hierarchy, typography, spacing and accessibility.
- Product judgment and the ability to explain how a design helps a first-time user.
What winning looks like
- One journey audit with a focused prototype, before/after rationale, mobile and desktop states, and feedback from a small usability check.
Who can apply
Students and recent graduates in relevant disciplines may apply. A specific degree title is not the main filter. Show useful work, clear thinking, the ability to learn from review and follow-through. Choose one primary role; you do not need to complete all eight challenges.
Where and how we work
Survey no 44 and 45, HQHF+2WJ F Residences, Baner - Balewadi Rd, Balewadi, Pune, Maharashtra 411045, India. The initial one-month probation period may be remote by exception, with scheduled in-person reporting at the Pune Garage. A successful probation period may lead to a full-time, on-site internship there.
How selection works
After your college's campus seminar, choose a bounded task with the relevant reviewer and show useful work through a nine-day contribution challenge. Exact start and submission dates are announced by the hiring team. Your evidence package should include your name, college or course, graduation year, chosen role, work link, your personal contribution, testing or measurement, result, limitations, earliest start date and ability to attend the weekly Pune reporting day. Relevant work you have already completed may be submitted. Day 10 is for final review and selection communication; the team may request a technical walkthrough to verify authorship. Selection considers craft, product understanding, validation, ownership, collaboration and integrity. Participation, a merged contribution, a published post or a ranking does not guarantee selection.
From contribution to internship
The initial performance-based probation period is one month, extendable to two months based on documented progress and review. Successful probation may lead to a paid, full-time, on-site internship at the Pune Garage. Internship duration, manager, start date and performance matrix are stated in the individual written offer. A later full-time offer depends on sustained performance, readiness, graduation where applicable and business requirements.
Compensation and potential PPO
The paid internship has a fixed stipend of INR 40,000 per month plus up to INR 10,000 per month linked to performance, for up to INR 50,000 per month at full performance. The INR 50,000 maximum is not guaranteed fixed pay. A potential full-time offer has INR 12.5 lakh annual base plus INR 4 lakh performance-linked bonus at target (INR 16.5 lakh CTC at target). Full-time conversion and its bonus depend on a separate written offer; a PPO is not automatic.
