About the role
You make personal agents useful inside organisations that bring their own security and operating requirements, and you carry what you learn in real deployments back into the product. You will be explaining the same tradeoff to an administrator and to the person actually using it, in different words, on the same day.
The work
Design customer-controlled deployments, identity integration, network access and lifecycle operations. Work with IT and integration partners on a clear division of responsibility. Preserve one authoritative policy domain per person and document where customer infrastructure controls the environment.
What good looks like
In your first 90 days, deliver a reproducible pilot deployment, operations guide and evidence that it meets the agreed acceptance criteria.
Evidence we look for
Bring hands-on infrastructure and customer engineering experience. Explain technical tradeoffs clearly to both administrators and the people using the product.
What we need to see
- Hands-on infrastructure and customer engineering experience
- You explain technical tradeoffs clearly to administrators and to end users both
- You have deployed into an environment with its own security review and survived it
- You feed deployment reality back into the product rather than working around it forever
Nice to have
- Identity and directory integration
- Regulated industry deployments
- You have written the runbook a customer's team then operated
The exercise
Plan a deployment where the customer requires its own compute and identity provider but wants managed software updates.
Where and how we work
In the office together five days a week, in any of these cities. Remote-friendly around your family, arranged one person at a time.
