About the role
You help users extend their own computing through partners without losing choice, aligning outside capabilities with our trust model. Partner incentives and customer interests genuinely conflict here, and this role is the one that has to resolve that rather than paper over it.
The work
Build relationships with cloud, model, identity, communications and enterprise-software providers. Work with engineers on supported interfaces, data use, licensing, quotas and support. Define user-controlled delegation and practical portability in each proposed collaboration.
What good looks like
In your first 90 days, deliver an ecosystem coverage map and one evaluated integration agreement with clear technical and commercial responsibilities.
Evidence we look for
Bring technical business-development or platform partnership experience. Explain how you have resolved conflicts between partner incentives and customer needs.
What we need to see
- Technical business development or platform partnership experience
- You can describe a real conflict between partner incentives and customer needs, and how you resolved it
- You understand a trust model well enough to know which partnerships would violate ours
- You will turn down a partnership that costs the user their choice
Nice to have
- Cloud or model-provider partnerships specifically
- Marketplace or ecosystem programs
- Technical enough to scope an integration yourself
The exercise
Evaluate a cloud partnership that offers favorable compute pricing but requires data handling inconsistent with the product's user controls.
Where and how we work
Customer-facing, so remote-friendly: base yourself in any major US city with good airport connections. Offices in all nine cities if you want one.
